NUMBERS 4:21-7:89

4 | 21 And יהוה spoke to Mosheh, saying,

22 “Take a census also of the sons of Gĕreshon, by their fathers’ house, by their clans.

23 “Register them, from thirty years old and above, even to fifty years old, all who enter to perform the service, to do the service in the Tent of Meeting.

24 “This is the service of the clans of the Gĕreshonites, in serving and in bearing burdens:

25 “And they shall bear the curtains of the Dwelling Place and the Tent of Meeting with its covering, the covering of fine leather that is on it, the covering for the door of the Tent of Meeting,

26 and the screens of the courtyard and the covering for the door of the gate of the courtyard, which is around the Dwelling Place and altar, and their cords, all the equipment for their service and all that is made for them – so shall they serve.

27 “Aharon and his sons are to command all the service of the sons of the Gĕreshonites, all their burden and all their service. And you shall appoint to them all the duty of all their burden.

28 “This is the service of the clans of the sons of Gĕreshon in the Tent of Meeting. And let their duties be under the hand of Ithamar, son of Aharon the priest.

29 “As for the sons of Merari, register them by their clans and by their fathers’ house.

30 “Register them, from thirty years old and above, even to fifty years old, all who enter the service to do the work of the Tent of Meeting.

31 “And this is the duty of their burden, according to all their service for the Tent of Meeting: the boards of the Dwelling Place, and its bars, and its columns, and its sockets,

32 and the columns around the courtyard with their sockets, and their pegs, and their cords, with all their equipment and all their service. And assign to each by name the equipment of the duty of their burden.

33 “This is the service of the clans of the sons of Merari, as all their service for the Tent of Meeting, under the hand of Ithamar, son of Aharon the priest.”

34 So Mosheh and Aharon and the leaders of the congregation registered the sons of the Qehathites by their clans and by their fathers’ house,

35 from thirty years old and above, even to fifty years old, all who entered the service for work in the Tent of Meeting.

36 And their registered ones, by their clans, were two thousand seven hundred and fifty.

37 These were the registered ones of the clans of the Qehathites, all those serving in the Tent of Meeting, whom Mosheh and Aharon registered according to the command of יהוה by the hand of Mosheh.

38 And those registered ones of the sons of Gĕreshon, by their clans and by their fathers’ house,

39 from thirty years old and above, even to fifty years old, all who entered the service for work in the Tent of Meeting,

40 the registered ones, by their clans, by their fathers’ house, were two thousand six hundred and thirty.

41 These were the registered ones of the clans of the sons of Gĕreshon, of all who serve in the Tent of Meeting, whom Mosheh and Aharon registered according to the command of יהוה.

42 And those of the clans of the sons of Merari who were registered, by their clans, by their fathers’ house,

43 from thirty years old and above, even to fifty years old, all who entered the service for work in the Tent of Meeting,

44 the registered ones, by their clans were three thousand two hundred.

45 These were the registered ones of the clans of the sons of Merari, whom Mosheh and Aharon registered according to the command of יהוה by the hand of Mosheh.

46 All the registered ones of the Lĕwites, whom Mosheh and Aharon and the leaders of Yisra’ĕl registered, by their clans and by their fathers’ houses,

47 from thirty years old and above, even to fifty years old, all who came to do the work of service and the work of bearing burdens in the Tent of Meeting,

48 their registered ones were eight thousand five hundred and eighty.

49 According to the command of יהוה they were registered by the hand of Mosheh, each according to his service and according to his burden, thus were they registered by him, as יהוה commanded Mosheh.

5 | 1 And יהוה spoke to Mosheh, saying,

2 “Command the children of Yisra’ĕl to send out of the camp every leper, and everyone who has a discharge, and whoever becomes defiled for a being.

3 “Send out both male and female, send them outside the camp, so that they do not defile their camps in the midst of which I dwell.”

4 And the children of Yisra’ĕl did so, to send them outside the camp. As יהוה had spoken to Mosheh, so the children of Yisra’ĕl did.

5 And יהוה spoke to Mosheh, saying,

6 “Speak to the children of Yisra’ĕl, ‘When a man or woman commits any sin that men commit in trespass against יהוה, and that being is guilty,

7 then they shall confess their sin which they have done. And he shall restore his guilt in its principal, plus one-fifth of it, and give it to whom he has been guilty.

8 ‘But if the man has no relative to restore the guilt to, the guilt which is restored goes to יהוה, for the priest, in addition to the ram of the atonement with which atonement is made for him.

9 ‘And every contribution of all the set-apart gifts of the children of Yisra’ĕl, which they bring to the priest, becomes his.

10 ‘And every man’s set-apart gifts becomes his, whatever any man gives the priest becomes his.’ ”

11 And יהוה spoke to Mosheh, saying,

12 “Speak to the children of Yisra’ĕl, and say to them, ‘When any man’s wife turns aside and has committed a trespass against him,

13 and a man has intercourse with her, and it is hidden from the eyes of her husband, and it is concealed that she has defiled herself, and there was no witness against her, nor was she caught,

14 and a spirit of jealousy comes upon him and he becomes jealous of his wife who has defiled herself, or a spirit of jealousy comes upon him and he becomes jealous of his wife although she has not defiled herself,

15 then the man shall bring his wife to the priest. And he shall bring the offering for her, one-tenth of an ĕphah of barley flour. He is not to pour oil on it or put frankincense on it, because it is a grain offering of jealousy, an offering for remembering, for bringing crookedness to remembrance.

16 ‘And the priest shall bring her near, and shall make her stand before יהוה.

17 ‘And the priest shall take set-apart water in an earthen vessel, and take some of the dust that is on the floor of the Dwelling Place and put it into the water.

18 ‘And the priest shall make the woman stand before יהוה, and shall uncover the woman’s head, and put the offering for remembering in her hands, which is the grain offering of jealousy, while the priest holds in his hand the bitter water that brings a curse.

19 ‘And the priest shall make her swear, and say to the woman, “If no man has lain with you, and if you have not turned aside to uncleanness under your husband’s authority, be free from this bitter water that brings a curse.

20 “But if you have turned aside under your husband’s authority, and if you have defiled yourself and some man other than your husband has lain with you” –

21 then the priest shall make the woman swear with the oath of the curse, and he shall say to the woman – “יהוה make you a curse and an oath among your people, when יהוה makes your thigh waste away and your belly swell,

22 and this water that causes the curse shall go into your inward parts, and make your belly swell and your thigh waste away.” And the woman shall say, “Amĕn, amĕn.”

23 ‘And the priest shall write these curses in a book, and shall wipe them off into the bitter water,

24 and shall make the woman drink the bitter water that brings the curse, and the water that brings the curse shall enter her to become bitter.

25 ‘And the priest shall take the grain offering of jealousy from the woman’s hand, and shall wave the offering before יהוה, and bring it to the altar.

26 ‘And the priest shall take a hand filled with the offering, as its remembrance offering, and burn it on the altar, and afterward make the woman drink the water.

27 ‘And when he has made her drink the water, then it shall be, if she has defiled herself and has committed a trespass against her husband, that the water that brings the curse shall enter her and become bitter, and her belly shall swell, and her thigh shall waste away, and the woman shall become a curse among her people.

28 ‘But if the woman has not defiled herself, and is clean, then she shall be clear and shall conceive children.

29 ‘This is the Torah of jealousy, when a wife turns aside under her husband’s authority and defiles herself,

30 or when a spirit of jealousy comes upon a man, and he becomes jealous of his wife. Then he shall make the woman stand before יהוה, and the priest shall do to her all this Torah.

31 ‘And the man shall be clear from crookedness, but the woman bear her crookedness.’ ”

6 | 1 And יהוה spoke to Mosheh, saying,

2 “Speak to the children of Yisra’ĕl, and say to them, ‘When a man or woman does separate, by making a vow of a Nazirite, to be separate to יהוה,

3 he separates himself from wine and strong drink – he drinks neither vinegar of wine nor vinegar of strong drink, neither does he drink any grape juice, nor eat grapes or raisins.

4 ‘All the days of his separation he does not eat whatever is made of the grapevine, from seed to skin.

5 ‘All the days of the vow of his separation a razor does not come upon his head. Until the days are completed for which he does separate himself to יהוה, he is set-apart. He shall let the locks of the hair of his head grow long.

6 ‘All the days of his separation to יהוה he does not go near a dead body.

7 ‘He does not make himself unclean for his father, or for his mother, for his brother or his sister, when they die, because his separation to Elohim is on his head.

8 ‘All the days of his separation he is set-apart to יהוה.

9 ‘And when anyone dies beside him in an instant, suddenly, and he has defiled the head of his separation, then he shall shave his head on the day of his cleansing – on the seventh day he shaves it.

10 ‘And on the eighth day he brings two turtledoves or two young pigeons to the priest, to the door of the Tent of Meeting,

11 and the priest shall prepare one as a sin offering and the other as a burnt offering, and shall make atonement for him, because he sinned by reason of the dead body. And he shall set apart his head on that day,

12 and shall separate to יהוה the days of his separation, and shall bring a male lamb a year old, as a guilt offering. But the former days are not counted, because his separation was defiled.

13 ‘And this is the Torah of the Nazirite: When the days of his separation are completed, he is brought to the door of the Tent of Meeting,

14 and he shall bring his offering to יהוה: one male lamb a year old, a perfect one, as a burnt offering, and one ewe lamb a year old, a perfect one, as a sin offering, and one ram, a perfect one, as a peace offering,

15 and a basket of unleavened bread, cakes of fine flour mixed with oil, and unleavened thin cakes anointed with oil, and their grain offering with their drink offerings.

16 ‘And the priest shall bring them before יהוה and prepare his sin offering and his burnt offering.

17 ‘And he shall prepare the ram as a peace offering to יהוה, together with the basket of unleavened bread. And the priest shall prepare its grain offering and its drink offering.

18 ‘And the Nazirite shall shave the head of his separation at the door of the Tent of Meeting, and shall take the hair from the head of his separation and shall put it on the fire which is under the slaughtering of the peace offering.

19 ‘And the priest shall take the boiled shoulder of the ram, and one unleavened cake from the basket, and one unleavened thin cake, and put them upon the hands of the Nazirite after he has shaved his hair of separation.

20 ‘Then the priest shall wave them, a wave offering before יהוה. It is set-apart for the priest, besides the breast of the wave offering and besides the thigh of the contribution. And afterwards the Nazirite shall drink wine.’

21 “This is the Torah of the Nazirite who vows to יהוה the offering for his separation, and besides that, whatever else his hand is able to provide. According to the vow which he takes, so he shall do according to the Torah of his separation.”

22 And יהוה spoke to Mosheh, saying,

23 “Speak to Aharon and his sons, saying, ‘This is how you bless the children of Yisra’ĕl. Say to them:

24 “יהוה bless you and guard you;

25 יהוה make His face shine upon you, and show favour to you;

26 יהוה lift up His face upon you, and give you peace.” ’a

27 “Thus they shall put My Name on the children of Yisra’ĕl, and I Myself shall bless them.”

7 | 1 And it came to be, when Mosheh finished setting up the Dwelling Place, that he anointed it and set it apart and all its furnishings, as well as the altar and all its utensils. Thus he anointed them and set them apart.

2 And the leaders of Yisra’ĕl, heads of their fathers’ houses who were the leaders of the tribes and over the ones registered, drew near,

3 and they brought their offering before יהוה: six covered wagons and twelve cattle, a wagon for every two of the leaders, and for each one a bull. And they brought them near before the Dwelling Place.

4 And יהוה spoke to Mosheh, saying,

5 “Accept these from them, and they shall be used in doing the service of the Tent of Meeting. And you shall give them to the Lĕwites, each one according to his service.”

6 And Mosheh took the wagons and the cattle, and gave them to the Lĕwites.

7 He gave two wagons and four cattle to the sons of Gĕreshon, according to their service.

8 And he gave four wagons and eight cattle to the sons of Merari, according to their service, under the hand of Ithamar, son of Aharon the priest.

9 But to the sons of Qehath he gave none, because theirs was the service of the set-apart objects, which they bore on their shoulders.

10 And the leaders brought the dedication offering of the altar in the day it was anointed. So the leaders brought their offering before the altar.

11 And יהוה said to Mosheh, “Let them bring their offering, one leader each day, for the dedication of the altar.”

ISAIAH 54:1-17

54 | 1 “Sing, O barren one, you who did not bear! Break forth into singing, and cry aloud, you who have not been in labour! For the children of the deserted one are more than the children of the married woman,” said יהוה.

2 “Enlarge the place of your tent, and let them stretch out the curtains of your dwellings, spare not. Lengthen your cords, and strengthen your stakes.

3 “For you shall break forth to the right and to the left, and your seed inherit the nations, and make the deserted cities inhabited.

4 “Do not fear, for you shall not be put to shame, nor hurt, you shall not be humiliated. For the shame of your youth you shall forget, and not remember the reproach of your widowhood any more.

5 “For your Maker is your husband, יהוה of hosts is His Name, and the Set-apart One of Yisra’ĕl is your Redeemer. He is called the Elohim of all the earth.

6 “For יהוה has called you like a woman forsaken and grieved in spirit, like a wife of youth when you were refused,” declares your Elohim.

7 “For a little while I have forsaken you, but with great compassion I shall gather you.

8 “In an overflow of wrath I hid My face from you for a moment, but with everlasting kindness I shall have compassion on you,” said יהוה, your Redeemer.

9 “For this is the waters of Noaḥ to Me, in that I have sworn that the waters of Noaḥ would never again cover the earth, so have I sworn not to be wroth with you, nor to rebuke you.

10 “For though the mountains be removed and the hills be shaken, My kindness is not removed from you, nor is My covenant of peace shaken,” said יהוה, who has compassion on you.

11 “O you afflicted one, tossed with storm, and not comforted, see, I am setting your stones in antimony, and shall lay your foundations with sapphires,

12 and shall make your battlements of rubies, your gates of crystal, and all your walls of precious stones,

13 and all your children taught by יהוה, and the peace of your children great.

14 “In righteousness you shall be established – far from oppression, for you shall not fear, and far from ruin, for it does not come near you.

15 “See, they shall indeed assemble, but not because of Me. Whoever shall assemble against you falls for your sake!

16 “See, I Myself have created the blacksmith who blows the coals in the fire, who brings forth an instrument for his work. And I have created the waster to destroy.

17 “No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall prove wrong. This is the inheritance of the servants of יהוה, and their righteousness from Me,” declares יהוה.

1 SAMUEL 20:1-21:15

20 | 1 And Dawiḏ fled from Nawith in Ramah, and went and said to Yehonathan, “What have I done? What is my crookedness, and what is my sin before your father, that he seeks my life?”

2 And Yehonathan said to him, “Far be it! You are not going to die! See, my father does no big matter nor small matter without disclosing it to me. And why should my father hide this matter from me? It is not so!”

3 But Dawiḏ swore again, and said, “Your father knows well that I have found favour in your eyes, and he says, ‘Do not let Yehonathan know this, lest he be grieved.’ But truly, as יהוה lives and as your being lives, there is but a step between me and death.”

4 And Yehonathan said to Dawiḏ, “Whatever your desire is, I do it for you.”

5 And Dawiḏ said to Yehonathan, “See, tomorrow is the New Moon, and I ought to sit with the sovereign to eat. But let me go, and I shall hide in the field until the third day at evening.

6 “If your father misses me at all, then you shall say, ‘Dawiḏ earnestly asked my permission to run over to Bĕyth Leḥem, his city, for a yearly slaughtering is made there for all the clan.’

7 “If he says thus, ‘It is well,’ your servant is safe. But if he is very displeased, then know that he has resolved to do evil.

8 “And you shall show kindness to your servant, for you have brought your servant into a covenant of יהוה with you. And if there is crookedness in me, put me to death yourself, for why should you bring me to your father?”

9 And Yehonathan said, “Far be it from you! For if I knew with certainty that my father has resolved that evil is to come upon you, then would I not make it known to you?”

10 And Dawiḏ said to Yehonathan, “Who would make it known to me, or what if your father answers you sharply?”

11 And Yehonathan said to Dawiḏ, “Come, and let us go out into the field.” And they both went out into the field.

12 And Yehonathan said to Dawiḏ, “יהוה Elohim of Yisra’ĕl be witness! When I search out my father sometime tomorrow, or the third day, and see if there is good toward Dawiḏ, and I do not send to you or disclose it to you,

13 so let יהוה do so and much more to Yehonathan. And if it pleases my father to do you evil, then I shall disclose it to you and send you away, and you shall go in peace. And יהוה be with you as He has been with my father.

14 “But show me the kindness of יהוה, not only while I still live, so that I do not die,

15 and do not cut off your kindness from my house forever, no, not when יהוה has cut off every one of the enemies of Dawiḏ from the face of the earth.”

16 And Yehonathan made a covenant with the house of Dawiḏ, saying, “יהוה shall require it at the hand of the enemies of Dawiḏ.”

17 And Yehonathan again made Dawiḏ swear, because he loved him, for he loved him as he loved his own being.

18 So Yehonathan said to him, “Tomorrow is the New Moon, and you shall be missed, because your seat shall be empty.

19 “And on the third day, go down quickly and you shall come to the place where you hid on the day of the deed, and shall remain by the stone Ětsel.

20 “And let me shoot three arrows to the side of it as though shooting at a target,

21 and see, I shall send the youth, saying, ‘Go, find the arrows.’ If I expressly say to the youth, ‘Look, the arrows are on this side of you, get them and come,’ then, as יהוה lives, there is safety for you and no concern.

22 “But if I say thus to the youth, ‘Look, the arrows are beyond you,’ go your way, for יהוה has sent you away.

23 “And as for the word which you and I have spoken of, see, יהוה is between you and me forever.”

24 And Dawiḏ hid in the field. And when the New Moon came, the sovereign sat down by the food to eat.

25 And the sovereign sat on his seat, as at other times, on a seat by the wall, with Yehonathan standing, and Aḇnĕr sitting by Sha’ul’s side, but the place of Dawiḏ was empty.

26 But Sha’ul spoke not a word that day, for he thought, “It is an accident; he is not clean, for he has not been cleansed.”

27 And it came to be the next day, the second day of the month, that Dawiḏ’s place was empty. And Sha’ul said to Yehonathan his son, “Why has the son of Yishai not come to eat, either yesterday or today?”

28 And Yehonathan answered Sha’ul, “Dawiḏ earnestly asked my permission to go to Bĕyth Leḥem.

29 “And he said, ‘Please let me go, for our clan has a slaughtering in the city, and my brother has commanded me to be there. And now, if I have found favour in your eyes, please let me get away and see my brothers.’ That is why he has not come to the sovereign’s table.”

30 Then the displeasure of Sha’ul burned against Yehonathan, and he said to him, “You son of a perverse, rebellious woman! Do I not know that you have chosen the son of Yishai to your own shame and to the shame of your mother’s nakedness?

31 “For as long as the son of Yishai lives on the earth, you shall not be established, you and your reign. And now, send and bring him to me, for he is a son of death.”

32 And Yehonathan answered Sha’ul his father, and said to him, “Why should he be put to death? What has he done?”

33 At that, Sha’ul hurled a spear at him to smite him. Then Yehonathan knew that his father had resolved to put Dawiḏ to death.

34 And Yehonathan rose up from the table in the heat of displeasure, and ate no food the second day of the month, for he was grieved for Dawiḏ, because his father put him to shame.

35 And it came to be, in the morning, that Yehonathan went out into the field at the time appointed with Dawiḏ, and a small youth was with him.

36 And he said to the youth, “Now run, find the arrows which I shoot.” As the youth ran, he shot an arrow beyond him.

37 And when the youth came to the place where the arrow was which Yehonathan had shot, Yehonathan called out after the youth and said, “Is not the arrow beyond you?”

38 And Yehonathan shouted after the youth, “Make haste, hurry, do not stand still!” And Yehonathan’s youth picked up the arrows and came to his master.

39 But the youth knew not a speck. Only Yehonathan and Dawiḏ knew of the matter.

40 Then Yehonathan gave his weapons to the youth and said to him, “Go, take them to the city.”

41 And as soon as the youth had gone, Dawiḏ rose up from the south side, and fell on his face to the ground, and bowed down three times. And they kissed one another. And they wept together, but Dawiḏ more so.

42 And Yehonathan said to Dawiḏ, “Go in peace, since we have both sworn in the Name of יהוה, saying, ‘יהוה is between you and me, and between your seed and my seed, forever.’ ” Then he arose and left, and Yehonathan went into the city.

21 | 1 And Dawiḏ came to Noḇ, to Aḥimeleḵ the priest. And Aḥimeleḵ trembled when he met Dawiḏ, and asked him, “Why are you alone, and no one is with you?”

2 And Dawiḏ said to Aḥimeleḵ the priest, “The sovereign has commanded me a word, and said to me, ‘Let no one know whatever of the word about which I send you, and which I have commanded you.’ And I have directed my young men to such and such a place.

3 “And now, what do you have on hand? Give five loaves into my hand, or whatever is found.”

4 And the priest answered Dawiḏ and said, “There is no ordinary bread on hand, but there is set-apart bread – provided the young men have kept themselves from women.”

5 And Dawiḏ answered the priest, and said to him, “Truly, women have been kept from us about three days since I came out. And the vessels of the young men are set-apart, and it is an ordinary mission, and also, it was set-apart in the vessel today.”

6 Then the priest gave him set-apart bread, for there was no bread there except the showbread which had been taken from before יהוה, in order to put hot bread in on the day it is taken away.

7 Now one of the servants of Sha’ul was there that day, detained before יהוה. And his name was Do’ĕg̅, an Eḏomite, the chief of the herdsmen who belonged to Sha’ul.

8 And Dawiḏ said to Aḥimeleḵ, “Is there not here on hand a spear or a sword? For I have brought neither my sword nor my weapons with me, because the matter of the sovereign was urgent.”

9 And the priest said, “The sword of Golyath the Philistine, whom you smote in the Valley of Ělah. See, it is wrapped in a garment behind the shoulder garment. If you would take it, take it. For there is none other except this one here.” And Dawiḏ said, “There is none like it, give it to me.”

10 And Dawiḏ rose and fled that day from before Sha’ul, and went to Aḵish the sovereign of Gath.

11 But the servants of Aḵish said to him, “Is this not Dawiḏ the sovereign of the land? Did they not sing of him to each other in dances, saying, ‘Sha’ul smote his thousands, and Dawiḏ his ten thousands’?”

12 And Dawiḏ took these words to heart, and was very much afraid of Aḵish the sovereign of Gath,

13 and changed his behaviour before them, and feigned madness in their hands, and scratched on the doors of the gate, and let his saliva run down on his beard.

14 Then Aḵish said to his servants, “Look, you see the man is acting like a madman. Why do you bring him to me?

15 “Am I short of madmen, that you have brought this one to act as a madman near me? Should this one come into my house?”

COLOSSIANS 4:1-18

4 | 1 Sha’ul, an emissary of יהושע Messiah by the desire of Elohim, and Timothy our brother,

2 to the set-apart ones in Colosse, and true brothers in Messiah: Favour to you and peace from Elohim our Father and the Master יהושע Messiah.

3 We give thanks to the Elohim and Father of our Master יהושע Messiah, praying always for you,

4 having heard of your belief in Messiah יהושע and of your love for all the set-apart ones,

5 because of the expectation that is laid up for you in the heavens, of which you heard before in the word of the truth of the Good News,

6 which has come to you, as also in all the world it is bearing fruit and growing, as also among you, since the day you heard and knew the favour of Elohim in truth,

7 as you also learned from Epaphras, our beloved fellow servant, who is a true servant of Messiah on your behalf,

8 who also declared to us your love in the Spirit.

9 That is also why we, from the day we heard, have not ceased praying for you, and asking that you be filled with the knowledge of His desire in all wisdom and spiritual understanding,

10 to walk worthily of the Master, pleasing all, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of Elohim,

11 being empowered with all power, according to the might of His esteem, for all endurance and patience with joy,

12 giving thanks to the Father who has made us fit to share in the inheritance of the set-apart ones in the light,

13 who has delivered us from the authority of darkness and transferred us into the reign of the Son of His love,

14 in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins,

15 who is the likeness of the invisible Elohim, the first-born of all creation.a

16 Because in Him were created all that are in the heavens and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or rulerships or principalities or authorities – all have been created through Him and for Him.

17 And He is before all, and in Him all hold together.

18 And He is the Head of the body, the assembly, who is the beginning, the first-born from the dead, that He might become the One who is first in all.

19 Because in Him all the completeness was well pleased to dwell,

20 and through Him to completely restore to favour all unto Himself, whether on earth or in the heavens, having made peace through the blood of His stake.

21 And you, who once were estranged and enemies in the mind by wicked works, but now He has completely restored to favour

22 in the body of His flesh through death, to present you set-apart, and blameless, and unreprovable before Him,

23 if indeed you continue in the belief, founded and steadfast, and are not moved away from the expectation of the Good News which you heard, which was proclaimed to every creature under the heaven, of which I, Sha’ul, became a servant,

24 who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up in my flesh what is lacking in Messiah’s afflictions, for the sake of His Body, which is the assembly,

25 of which I became a servant according to the administration of Elohim which was given to me for you, to fill the word of Elohim,

26 the secret which has been hidden from ages and from generations, but now has been revealed to His set-apart ones,

27 to whom Elohim desired to make known what are the riches of the esteem of this secret among the gentiles: which is Messiah in you, the expectancy of esteem,

28 whom we announce, warning every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, in order to present every man perfect in Messiah יהושע,

29 for which I also labour, striving according to the working of Him who works in me in power.

Thank you for joining us as we read through the WORD of GOD! From My House to yours, may your Sabbath be full of the rest found in Him.
